Any development decision needs to take into account uncertainty of future events which may impact proper implementation of development plans. With globalization nations are getting closer and interconnected. Problems in one region has its domino effect on other regions. The ongoing pandemic makes it amply clear. The development planners are now confronted with an uphill task of choosing a path to development because of increasing uncertainty about future events due to unprecedented and unanticipated problems with different magnitudes. Against this backdrop, the Bangladesh Regional Science Association (BRSA) and the Center for Regional Development Studies (CRDS), Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) are organizing the 3rd Annual Conference on Regional Science and inviting paper for presentation at the Conference.
